(October 31, 2023; Las Vegas, NV) Harbor Freight Tools showcased its new U.S. GENERAL® 30 inch 5-Drawer Mechanics Cart at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show today.
This versatile cart doubles as tool storage and a rolling workstation. It will be available in stores and online in Spring 2024. Upgraded features to the Mechanics Cart include full-length drawer latches and an integrated pass-through power port.
The U.S. GENERAL 30 in. 5-Drawer Mechanics Cart will be available in nine colors, including slate gray, black, red, white, blue and—for the first time due to customer demand—purple.
Featuring five drawers and a large top compartment, the heavy duty all-steel Mechanics Cart has four 5-in. casters–two fixed and two locking–to maximize mobility and stability.
With 15,000 cubic inches of storage space and a 700 lb. weight capacity, the Cart is engineered to store a wide variety of tools for the shop or home garage. The glossy, industrial powder-coated finish is rust-resistant.
The top compartment opens to 90 ̊ to provide maximum visibility of tools, and the dual gas struts open smoothly and easily while holding the lid securely in place.
A single barrel lock keeps tools safe, and the spring-loaded latch-retention system keeps drawers securely closed when moving the cart. To minimize tool movement, each drawer has a pre-cut nonslip liner.
