(September 18, 2023; Calabasas, CA) Harbor Freight Tools has been named to the 2023 list of Fortune’s Top Ten Best Workplaces in Retail, the only tool retailer to land in the top ten.
Fortune partnered with Great Place to Work® and selected the Top Ten Best Workplaces in Retail based on its Trust Index™ survey of approximately 72,000 employees from Great Place to Work-certified companies. Harbor Freight Tools received Great Place to Work® certification earlier this year.
The evaluation was based on direct feedback from employees who were asked to rate their connection with colleagues, trust in management, and company loyalty. Employees answered 60 statements based on a five-point scale and two open-ended questions.
Harbor Freight Tools has more than 28,000 Associates and is committed to putting people first and helping build careers. It is one of the fastest-growing companies in retail, with more than 1,400 stores nationwide, and additional stores opening every week.
