The 14 in. x 20 in. Midi Lathe has electronic variable-speed control for precise turning and facing. It features a powerful 6 Amp, 1 HP motor that reaches speeds up to 3550 RPM for various types of wood turning projects, and a heavy cast iron bed that ensures maximum stability and reduced vibration.
A digital readout displays the variable speed range of 60 – 3550 RPM, and a toolless belt tension system allows the user to make quick belt position changes between the three speed ranges of low, medium, and high. An ACME thread in the tailstock provides smooth power transfer.
The spindle thread size is 1 in. x 8 TPI (teeth per inch), and to lock the spindle in precise increments, the Midi Lathe has 24 integrated indexing positions. For added convenience, the Midi Lathe includes a tool holder to store chuck keys and other accessories.
