5 in. Random Orbit Sander to its professional HERCULES® line.
Engineered with variable-speed control, the Random Orbit Sander delivers variable speeds from
8,000 to 12,000 OPM for faster sanding when removing material. Its compact design allows
contractors, carpenters, and remodelers to get close to the work surface for additional control.
The powerful brushless motor also provides longer runtimes. The Random Orbit Sander can
operate for up to 40 minutes on a single HERCULES 5 Ah battery. For added versatility, the
Random Orbit Sander can be used to smooth materials such as wood, plastic, or metal, and to
remove paint or rust. The Random Orbit Sander’s smooth orbital action provides a swirl-free
finish.
An eight-hole dust pad and dust collection bag keep the work surface clean during use, while a
dust-sealed power switch improves the life of the tool. The hook-and-loop sanding pad makes
changing sandpaper quick and easy while on the job. To reduce user fatigue and for added
comfort, the Random Orbit Sander has an ergonomic rubberized grip that reduces vibration.
A five-year limited warranty is included. The battery is sold separately.
