Harbor Freight Launches Next Generation of ICON® Ratchets

(April 16, 2025; Calabasas, CA) Harbor Freight is expanding its professional hand tools lineup with the launch of the highly-anticipated ICON® G2 ratchets.

Offering outstanding quality and value compared to the competition, the G2 ratchets are available in both locking-flex and extra-long versions.

The nine new ratchets in the lineup are:

1/4-inch drive ratchets:

  • 9 inch Long Locking Flex with Comfort Grip
  • 5 inch Extra-Long
  • 5 inch Extra Long with Comfort Grip

3/8-inch drive ratchets:

  • 14 inch Long Locking Flex with Comfort Grip
  • 20 inch Extra-Long
  • 20 inch Extra-Long with Comfort Grip

1/2-inch drive ratchets:

  • 26 inch Extra-Long Locking Flex with Comfort Grip
  • 26 inch Extra-Long
  • 26 inch Extra-Long with Comfort Grip

All nine new ratchets feature split-pawl technology for ultimate strength and lifetime performance.

The nickel-chrome-moly gear features precision-machined teeth for a tight arc swing with greater torque and durability.

Precision-engineered to reduce back drag for removal of loose fasteners, the G2 Ratchets have a two-piece switch lever to provide secure engagement without auto-reversing. For longer tool life, all have a fully-sealed head to keep debris out.

The G2 Locking Flex Ratchets feature steel gear teeth, and a strong screw style pivot with split washer. The flex head contains a precision-machined locking lever that makes five points of contact with the head, ensuring strong holding power during use. The locking mechanism has nine different positions at 16.5˚ increments, and a total range of 132˚. When unlocked, the ratchet head rotates a full 180˚.

Designed and engineered in the USA by ICON tools, all ICON G2 Ratchets have a lifetime guarantee. They are available only at Harbor Freight.
