LAS VEGAS, NV – Harbor Freight showcased four innovative MADDOX™ OBDII Code Readers at SEMA in Las Vegas.
The new products in the lineup are the MADDOX MR16 Advanced 4.3 in. Screen OBDII Code Reader, MR14 4.3 in. Screen OBDII Code Reader, MR 2.8 in. Screen OBDII Code Reader, and the MR5 OBDII Code Reader.
All of the new Code Readers work with almost all OBDII passenger vehicles manufactured from 1996 onwards, including gas, diesel, and hybrid models.
Using the RepairSolutions2 app, the MADDOX Code Readers easily pair with a BLUETOOTH smart device to provide over 60 million professionally verified fixes.
Based on the Code Reader’s results, the user can view scheduled maintenance requirements and predict future repair needs. Updates on NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) and manufacturer recalls are also provided.
For cars that have difficulty starting; the battery, charger, and alternator can be easily – and quickly – tested.
On the 4.3 in Code Readers, users can do an all-system scan, including ABS, Airbag, TPMS and more, as well as resets and relearns. For added convenience, the Code Readers can record, graph, and play back live data onscreen.
All MADDOX OBDII Code Readers are available only at Harbor Freight.
