(July 27, 2023; Calabasas, CA) Harbor Freight Tools has been named to the 2023 list of Forbes Magazine’s Best Employers for Women, and one of the top 20 best employers for women in the retail category.
Harbor Freight Tools is committed to putting people first and helping build careers for all Associates. Also, Forbes has previously recognized the company as a Best Employer for Veterans in retail for the past three years, and a Best Employer for Diversity and Inclusion.
Forbes and their partner Statista selected America’s Best Employers for Women 2023 based on independent surveys of roughly 60,000 workers at American companies with more than 1,000 employees.
The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their employer on factors such as pay equity, parental-leave policies, representation of women in upper management, and employer response to incidents of discrimination.
Further research was conducted into each company’s presence of women in executive management or board positions. Approximately 40,000 women and 20,000 men took part in the survey.
